The new Verival Bio Palm Sugar is an unrefined full palm sugar extracted from the buds of the Arenga palm. High up in the topmost branches of the palm trees, the flower spikes produce the brown sugar juice. When harvested, the naturally sweet palm sap is collected by the farmers, then filtered and carefully boiled. The syrup must then be left to cool and set.
